The Role:

The Embedded SW Bluetooth Expert is responsible for designing, implementing, integrating and debugging embedded software for new wireless products. You will be joining a team of embedded and firmware engineers working on wireless input devices (mouse, keyboards and other related products).

  • Design and develop firmware and embedded software code for wireless devices.

  • Ensure the implementation of connectivity code in devices and platform is robust and reliable.

  • Participate to the elaboration of new radio protocols.

  • Define and implement high performance firmware by leveraging a strong understanding of embedded hardware design.

  • Collaborate with the development team and qualification team.

  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth analysis of variable factors.

  • Participate to standardization committees related to Bluetooth or wireless connectivity.

  • Contribute to software architectural, design and functional specifications.

  • Communicate early and often about any significant events or issues affecting the team or delivery schedule and quality.

  • Improve processes or propose improvement where’s applicable.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Bluetooth expert/guru who understand Bluetooth Low Energy protocol inside-out. Familiar with the BT standard (LE and BR/EDR) and with Bluetooth SIG work.

  • Deep knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy stack.

  • Recent experience with other wireless RF standards is a plus.

  • 8+ years’ experience in Embedded Software/Firmware development.

  • Proficiency in coding with C/C++.

  • Experience developing for small-footprint and low-power systems.

  • Service oriented attitude, with strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.

  • Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

  • Strong documentation skills. Ability to translate high-level protocol descriptions into detailed level implementation specifications.

Education:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
