Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer for Electronic Components

The Team and Role:
Senior Supplier Quality Engineer for Electronic Components is responsible for Electronic Components to ensure the quality of electronic materials
from suppliers. This position will collaborate with suppliers to ensure all electronic materials meet our high-quality standards and continuously improve quality control
within the supply chain and production processes.

1. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure electronic materials meet company quality standards and specifications.
2. Develop and implement supplier quality management systems, including supplier audits, evaluations, and certification processes.
3. Monitor and track supplier quality performance, and conduct regular data analysis and reporting.
4. Address supplier quality issues, work with suppliers on problem analysis and root cause analysis, and develop corrective and preventive actions.
5. Participate in the development and evaluation of new suppliers to ensure their quality systems and production capabilities meet requirements.
6. Conduct regular on-site audits and inspections of suppliers to ensure the effectiveness of their production processes and quality control measures.
7. Work closely with internal teams (such as R&D, production, procurement, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement in supplier quality to meet project requirements.
8. Provide quality-related technical support and guidance in new product development projects.
9. Assist in developing and updating quality standards, inspection specifications, and testing methods.
10. Lead the validation and approval of SPCN (Supplier Process Change Notification).
11. Participate in the validation and approval of 2nd source suppliers.
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
1. Bachelor degree or above in electronic engineering, physics or related majors.
2. At least 5 years of working experience in product engineering and test engineering in large electronic manufacturing companies, familiar with the principles, structures and typical failures of 2-3 types of electronic materials such
as chips, touch switches, micro switches, PCBs, and cables.
3. Familiar with quality management systems (such as ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949) and related tools (such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of independently handling complex quality issues.
5. Strong communication and coordination skills, able to establish effective cooperation with suppliers and internal teams.
6. Strong data analysis skills, able to use statistical software for quality data analysis.
7. Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
8. High sense of responsibility and team spirit, able to complete tasks under pressure.
9. Willingness to travel globally for on-site supplier audits and quality inspections.
Preferred Qualification
1. Experience in quality management of electronic material suppliers for large electronic manufacturing companies.
2. Possession of quality management-related certifications (such as CQE, CQA) is preferred.
3. Knowledge of the latest electronic material technologies and industry trends.
