Job Title: CMF Sr. Engineer (material formulation development)

Summary:

The CMF Sr. Engineer (Materials Formulation) is responsible for developing and optimizing material formulations for color, materials, and finish (CMF) applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CMF principles, experience with resin or paint/ink formulation development, and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize material formulations for new and existing products

  • Work with x-functions to ensure that CMF specifications are met

  • Select and source raw materials that meet CMF requirements

  • Conduct material testing and characterization

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest CMF trends and technologies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in material formulation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering

  • 3-5+ years of experience in material formulation development, preferably in the CMF industry

  • Candidates with a proficient level of both written and spoken English

  • Experience with resin or paint/ink formulation development

  • Strong understanding materials science

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
