Foreign Trade Zone Administrator

 

Position Summary

The Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Administrator will assist the Senior Trade Compliance Manager by providing various compliance services and support to achieve Logisnext Marengo's FTZ Compliance goals. Such services and support shall include the performance of trade compliance duties as well as the administration of Logisnext Marengo's FTZ obligations.

 

Required Knowledge / Skills / Experience / Certifications / Licenses

  • Bachelor's Degree or technical discipline equivalent.
  • 7 to 10 years’ experience.
  • Approximately 2 to 7 years’ experience in inventory control/compliance environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill set.
  • Demonstrated capability in problem solving and process oriented skills.
  • Proven attention to detail.
  • Ability to solve problems in a proactive manner.

 

Desired Knowledge / Skills / Experience / Certifications / Licenses

  • Possess a knowledge of inventory control systems, warehousing and logistics activities including import and export activities and customs brokerage operations.

 

Equipment and Tools Used / Working Conditions

  • Microsoft Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Adobe; Windows 2010; AX.
  • Various Working Conditions (office and warehouse environment).
  • Inventory Control and Recordkeeping software.
