The Junior Closer provides support in help enhancing the department productivity. They will work closely with the Closing Department Manager and is responsible for assisting the Closing Department with preparing the Closing Disclosure, sending docs and sending Post Consummation Closing Disclosure.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Audit loan file and preparation of the initial Closing Disclosure and all change of circumstances
Ensure all closing disclosures are in compliance with TRID and all regulatory requirements
Delivery of closing disclosure and any change of circumstance documents to borrowers
- Review and complete to ensure compliance with TRID and other regulatory requirements
Answer questions related to closing disclosing loan files from Sales/Processing Team
- Re-audit to prepare any revisions of CD when necessary
- Compare RESPA CD to initial Loan Estimate and subsequent revised LE’s for final review, reconciliation, and final adjustments and obtain approval for tolerance cures apply when necessary
Obtain CD acknowledgement and assist with sending loan documents
Prepare the closing doc package
- Assist with sending Final Post Consummation Closing Disclosures
Perform other duties as assigned by Closing Manager
Work mandatory overtime when announced and listed last days on closing calendar
Assist with sending Final Post Consummation Closing Disclosures
Understand mortgage-related terms and types of programs
Able to conduct detailed review of all fees for accuracy
Knowledge of TRID, RESPA and general mortgage compliance guidelines is required
Closing Disclosures and TRID are a must
Encompass 360 experience prefer
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products
Strong customer service and time management skills
Ability to organize, prioritize workload, meet deadlines and handle detailed assignments
Highly motivated and determined to succeed in a competitive, time sensitive industry
Minimum of 1-year mortgage closing document generation or equivalent experience prefer
Sit at a desk 6-8 hours per day performing tasks on a computer.
Work mandatory overtime when require

- Requiring normal safety precautions with minimal occupational health and safety risks
- Moderate to low noise levels and requires considerable concentration
- Stresses induced by changing environment, diversity in the organization, tight deadlines and high volume of workload
