Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for gathering, composing, and editing process information into clear, concise, readable documents for policies, procedures, and job aids for the Servicing teams. Interviews subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure technical accuracy of procedures and usability of job aid documentation, etc. Audits P&P documents to ensure proper change controls/management processes and approval levels.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, updates, and maintains policies, procedures, and job aids to support Servicing operations, ensuring alignment with system enhancements, process improvements, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to gather information, validate technical accuracy, and ensure documentation is clear, effective, and user-friendly.
- Researches, organizes, and translates complex operational and technical information into clear, concise documentation, including process maps, flowcharts, diagrams, screenshots, and other instructional materials.
- Drafts and maintains policy documentation to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal controls, and Servicing business requirements.
- Administers document management and control processes, maintaining a centralized repository of policies, procedures, and supporting documentation for audit and governance purposes.
- Conducts periodic and annual reviews of policies and procedures to ensure content accuracy, regulatory compliance, adherence to change management standards, and appropriate approval and version control requirements.
- Supports internal and external audits by providing documentation, evidence of approvals, version history, and records demonstrating compliance with established governance standards.
- Performs other duties and projects assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum one (1) + years of professional writing experience focused on communicating effectively and creatively with target audiences.
- Experience in the mortgage lending industry preferred.
- Ability to analyze technical information and write comprehensive policy/procedure documents appropriate to the audience.
- Excellent writing, verbal, editing, and proofreading skills,
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and others as needed.

Base salary is one piece of our total rewards package and is structured within a range so you can progress as you grow in the role. For this position, the anticipated annual base salary range is $24.52 to $33.65 nationally. In certain high-cost geographic markets (CA), the anticipated annual base salary range is $28.37 to $38.94. Actual compensation will depend on your skills, experience, qualifications, and the work location tied to our geographic pay structure.
