Position Summary: 

Responsible for the entire lifecycle management of our IT assets, from acquisition and deployment to maintenance, optimization, recovery, and eventual disposal. Plays a key role in ensuring our IT infrastructure is used efficiently and cost-effectively while adhering to all relevant policies and regulations. This position ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manages the IT asset inventory:
    • Maintains an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all hardware, software, and mobile devices.
    • Tracks asset location, configuration, ownership, and license information.
    • Conducts regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Optimizes asset utilization:
    • Identifies and reports on underutilized assets.
    • Implements strategies to maximize asset usage and extend their lifespan.
    • Develops a decommissioning process for obsolete or retired assets.
  • Manages software licenses:
    • Tracks and manages all software licenses, ensuring compliance with license agreements.
    • Negotiates and renews software licenses as needed.
    • Identifies and mitigates software license compliance risks.
  • Maintains compliance with regulations:
    • Stays up to date on relevant IT asset management regulations and standards.
    • Ensures the organization is compliant with all applicable regulations.
  • Prepares reports and presentations:
    • Generates reports on IT asset usage, costs, and compliance.
    • Presents findings and recommendations to management.

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of one (1) + years of experience in IT asset management.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management
  • Experience with CMDB and asset discovery tools.
  • Experience with software license management tools.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
  •  Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft\Office365 applications.
  • Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate math skills; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
  • A demonstrated mastery of industry leading tools in SIEM, EDR, and CSPM.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this roles is between $ 22.12 and $30.77. Your base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including your job-related knowledge/skills, qualifications, experience, and market location.
