Position Summary: 

Responsible for managing a team of Loss Mitigation Leads and Loss Mitigation agents including Opener, Closers, Specialists, Underwriters handling incoming workout requests, while maintaining servicing level expectations at the individual, team, department and company level. 

Responsibilities:      

  • Supervises loss mitigation day-to day departmental pipeline; provides training, coaching, mentoring. Identifies trends, develops process improvements and system enhancements to increase departmental efficiency.
  • Maintains vast knowledge of all FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, FHLMC loss mitigation guidelines for portfolio retention and disposition polices; implements change management for new programs, develops and deploys process updates for department. Utilizes strong background in pipeline management for both retention and disposition.
  • Responsible for incoming loss mitigation workout package pipeline and full closing process for all waterfall options. Oversees quality control and audit checks all loss mitigation transactions; reviews, approves and denies opener, closer, underwriting and specialist transmittals for accuracy and quality. Spot checks start to finish.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert for all lead/agent level related questions and escalation contact for all staff members as related to loss mitigation, not limited to appeal and escalation management, title orders and recordings, document preparation, investor delegation submissions and departmental inbox requests.
  • Conducts regularly scheduled coaching and performance review with leads and staff; discusses scorecards, quality assurance scores and loan level reviews. Facilitates team meetings and various conference calls.
  • Provides daily, weekly and monthly reports to management on departmental performance objectives. 

Requirements:  

  • 5+ years related work experience in loss mitigation required.
  • 3+ years of management experience with managing large teams in a high volume and fast paced environment required.
  • Black Knight MSP experience required.
  • High School Degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
