Position Summary:

Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in the Loss Mitigation Department as it relates to the loss mitigation pipeline and staff. Responsible for managing, mentoring, and overseeing 40 + Loss Mitigation staff, while maintaining servicing level expectations at the individual, team, department, and company level. Evaluates and manages Loss Mitigation metrics and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically manages Loss Mitigation’s operations to achieve established goals and expectations.
  • Reports daily, weekly, and monthly on departmental analytics and staff production, pipeline management as well as accomplishments and challenges.
  • Promotes continuous development to all aspects of Loss Mitigation including, process implementation, change management and administration of Loss Mitigation strategies to mitigate loss while ensuring policies and procedures are met at the company, Federal, State and agency level.
  • Maintains all policy and procedures for loss mitigation roles/functions, ensuring compliance with all investors, state, regulatory, and CFBB guidelines.
  • Effectively communicates with senior management on all Loss Mitigations matters; executes and communicates change management at the team and organization level.
  • Maintains vast knowledge of all FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, FHLMC loss mitigation guidelines for portfolio retention and disposition policies.
  • Measures performance goals and manages daily operation to ensure customer quality, productivity and service level goals are achieved.
  • Responsible for training, coaching, and mentoring staff and facilitating team meetings and conference calls. 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of six (6) + years of related work experience in Loss Mitigation.
  • Minimum of four (4) + years’ experience specific to Loss Mitigation Management required.
  • Black Knight MSP experience required.
  • Experience with coaching and counseling skills required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
