Position Summary:

At loanDepot, our Application Support Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting multiple high availability business application for Originations, Servicing, and other mortgage adjacent applications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to troubleshooting complex loan level setup and processing issues, working with cross platform teams and vendors to address customer facing issues in a rapid fast-moving environment. Creating and maintaining knowledge base/documentation. Ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage application incident support queues for incident resolution, within defined SLAs
  • Perform analysis and troubleshooting for reported incidents prior to escalation to development or other IT resources internally and externally
  • Communicate with stakeholders and users the status of current requests or incidents
  • Provide full operations support; identifies recurring issues and provides solution options to Level I, II, and III support teams.
  • Collaborate with Information Security to address and remediate any security concerns raised as needed
  • Review and update application support documentation for frequent support issues and resolutions
  • Special projects and tasks assigned by management/team lead

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting service-based(SaaS) applications.
  • Minimum 3 years working with third party vendor support teams to prioritize, coordinate and resolve loan level issues.
  • Strong experience understanding the loan concepts, and the loan life cycle from lead acquisitions to servicing to secondary market
  • Experience with Black Knight LoanShpere(Empower) and/or Meridian Link loan origination application preferred
  • Experience with SQL (basic read, update & insert scripting), SQL Management Studio (read, update, insert, and delete scripts), and PowerShell preferred.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position.
  • Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Mortgage industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or Five (5) + years’ experience in a similar field.
