Sr Endpoint Engineer
Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for providing Tier 3 support for the user experience, configuration, and lifecycle of loanDepot endpoints, including Windows OS, Mac OS, SCCM, Intune, MS ATP, Microsoft 365, application packaging, Endpoint modernization, and security.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the design, implementation, and management of endpoint solutions, including workstation updates, mobile device security policies, and application-based Group Policies, ensuring stability and compliance across the organization.
- Serves as the subject matter expert for SCCM, Intune, JAMF, and Citrix, driving configuration, reporting, and integration efforts to optimize system performance and security. Oversee the deployment of security patches and updates to all devices, ensuring system integrity and compliance.
- Manages the lifecycle of workstation hardware and software, including driver, BIOS, and firmware updates, ensuring that all endpoints are up-to-date and secure. Develop and maintain endpoint build standards and deployment procedures.
- Leads cross-functional IT teams, providing and developing solutions for endpoint security, software packaging, and device management, while driving improvements to user experience and operational efficiency.
- Oversees the deployment of next-generation technology (Mac, PC, and Mobile) and VDI solutions, collaborating with various IT teams to ensure successful enterprise-wide implementation.
- Defines and enforces endpoint hardware standards and lifecycle management processes, and refresh strategies, ensuring consistent and efficient technology management.
- Uses data and operational metrics to track project progress, identify trends, and inform decision-making, providing regular updates to leadership on key initiatives and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Drives the ongoing improvement of Endpoint Engineering services, partnering with IT Infrastructure and Operations, and Information Security to identify opportunities to develop value-added solutions for the organization.
Requirements:
- Minimum of seven (7) + years’ experience deploying operating systems and applications, writing reports, and using PowerShell to automate tasks.
- Minimum of seven (7) + years working with multiple operating systems, primarily Windows and macOS.
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, including Group Policy, replication, DNS, and organizational unit design best practices.
- In-depth understanding of Windows registry, permissions (Windows/macOS), macOS preferences, and drivers for baseline image creation.
- Expertise in System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and hybrid integration with Azure Active Directory.
- Proficient in creating and managing Windows and macOS images, with expertise in SCCM, Intune, and other deployment technologies.
- Extensive experience in mobile device management using Intune.
- Advanced skills in computer terminal operation, personal computer management, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex LAN/WAN issues related to connectivity and physical locations.
- Knowledgeable in emerging technologies, such as cloud endpoint management.
- Hands-on experience packaging and deploying Microsoft 365, OneDrive, and other technologies used to migrate traditional on-premises workloads to the cloud required.
- Experience with Windows Servicing and management using SCCM/Intune required.
- Experience delivering endpoint protection, encryption, and cloud MDM required.
- Experience supporting/administering a virtual workspace environment running on VMware vSphere and Citrix XenDesktop required.
- Experience managing remote endpoints on and off the corporate LAN required.
- Experience creating deployment test plans, test cases, managing deployment groups, and soliciting feedback from pilot users. General understanding of software development, agile, CI/CD required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this role is between $106,000 and $130,000. Your base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including your job-related knowledge/skills, qualifications, experience, and market location.
