Position Summary:  
Responsible for assisting with the execution of regulatory exams and GSE, investor and agency reviews, including monitoring, analyzing, and responding directly to regulators and investors. This position ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
 
 
Responsibilities:  
  • Prepares exam requests and inquiries, reviews documents and data requests, and determines appropriate individuals for response.
  • Coordinates with and gathers data from a variety of team members and partners, manages any required follow-ups, validates data and ensures that all responses are complete, accurate and submitted timely.
  • Assists with the preparation and timely filing of periodic regulatory reports, including the Mortgage Call Report (MCR).
  • Assists with corporate and joint venture mortgage licensing, including preparation of license applications, reporting and other filing.
  • Performs other duties and projects assigned.
 
Requirements:  
  • Possess some familiarity with mortgage regulations, financial services industry best practices and GSE/investor requirements.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, and minimum of four (4) + years’ compliance experience in the mortgage or financial industry.
  • Minimum of two (2) + years’ managing and/or conducting examinations and reviews, including overseeing remediation plans.
  • Experience in assisting with examinations and GSE, investor and agency reviews for a mortgage lender.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this roles is between $53,000 and $92,000. Your base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including your job-related knowledge/skills, qualifications, experience, and market location.
