Responsible for supporting critical strategic planning and forecasting projects within Treasury. Responsible for creating and maintaining Cash forecasting, funding, and projections models. Responsible for assisting in reconciliation of warehouse activity. Prepares and executes Funding and Payment Date Reporting in compliance with contractual agreements. This position ensures the performance of all duties are in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, as well as all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, where the company does business.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining Cash Models, and a variety of financial management reports related to funding and lending operations.
  • Gathers multiple data sources from source systems and ensures accuracy.
  • Prepares Month End Presentations and overviews as needed.
  • Prepares Funding Day and Payment Date reports.
  • Functions effectively within a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Provides senior level analysis to the treasury department through reporting and testing.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance and improve controls and compliance within the company.
  • Partners with management to develop efficient and effective corrective action plans and influence improvements of the system of internal controls.
  • Analyzes and optimizes existing processes.
  • Presents findings to management in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

  • Three (3) + years of Treasury and Financial Analysis experience required
  • Two (2) + years SQL experience required
  • Two (2) + years cash forecasting experience
  • Understanding of cash flows associated with the funding and settlement processes
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel for financial modeling required 
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools, and treasury management systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.-required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position
  • Knowledge of Financial Accounting with understanding financial statements
  • Intermediate math skills; the ability to calculate interest and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs are all necessary skills that a successful Treasury Analyst-required
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules on a short-term and long-term basis
  • Ability to understand Banking products, internal procedures, and proper workflow management
  • Ability to reconcile transactions from multiple banks
  • Experience in the Mortgage industry or Banking background preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is preferred
