Insurance & MI Specialist

Position Summary:
Responsible for monitoring third party insurance vendor to ensure all insurance bills are paid timely, adequate coverage is held on all properties, lender placed insurance procedures are followed properly, and that all investor guidelines are followed. Reviews, researches, and responds to internal and external email requests, inquiries and/or complaints. Responsible for the accurate payment of insurance exception items. This position ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews, researches, and clears any open items on all exception reports.
- Monitors all open insurance and MI tasks on MSP.
- Assists with the research and payment of insurance premiums collected at closing.
- Requests and monitors approvals to pay insurance premiums on loans with disbursement stops.
- Responsible for responding to internal and external email requests, inquiries and/or complaints.
- Assists with incoming insurance mail, as needed.
- Handles the processing of MI and BPMI disbursements and reconciliation, as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in the Mortgage industry required.
- Experience with Black Knight’s MSP servicing system required.
- High School Degree/GED required and a minimum of two (2) + years’ experience working in a similar field.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this role is between $24.52 and $33.65/hr. Your base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including your job-related knowledge/skills, qualifications, experience, and market location.
