Financial Analyst, Sr
Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for updating our corporate forecast model, executive presentations and board of directors’ materials, in addition to permanent and ad hoc analysis that enable management decision making. The right candidate will have several years of modeling experience, be highly proficient in excel and (preferably) Essbase and/or Workday Adaptive, with a keen eye and attention to detail. This role has high visibility with the SVP, Finance and the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Leads the aggregation of the annual budget, and drives the recurring forecasts, and long-term financial models. Analyzes and interprets financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Performance Reporting: Prepares and presents comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators. Tracks and reports on financial performance against budget and forecast.
- Strategic Decision Support: Collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for strategic initiatives. Conducts ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Cost Management: Identifies cost optimization opportunities and implements strategies to improve efficiencies. Monitors and analyzes departmental and organizational expenses.
- Financial Modeling: Develops and maintains complex financial models to support business planning. Evaluates the financial impact of various scenarios and initiatives.
- Risk Management: Assesses and mitigates financial risks through proactive analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicates financial insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders. Collaborates with colleagues within finance and business unit leaders to ensure financial goals align with overall company objectives.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required, and a minimum of four (4) + years’ experience in a Financial Analyst or Business Analyst role.
- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL, Oracle) including the ability to easily extract raw data is required.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry is a must; Mortgage industry highly preferred.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this role is between $90,000 and $110,000. Your base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including your job-related knowledge/skills, qualifications, experience, and market location.
