The Gift Shop Coordinator is responsible for assisting with financial and inventory management in the LMH Gift Shop and Mario’s Closet in accordance with Gift Shop policies and procedures. We are looking to add someone who has strong experience working with Quickbooks and likes to be apart of a team. This role is perfect for a multi tasker who is looking to work in non-profit retail and is great with task and time management.

  • Responsible for reconciling all Gift Shop/Mario’s Closet daily, monthly and yearly financial operations.
  • Produce data reports to Gift Shop Manager monthly.
  • Prepares information for Auditors in a timely manner when requested.
  • Helps prepare and participates with yearly inventory.
  • Maintains sales tracking data monthly and pays all bills in a timely manner.
  • Records breakage, contacts vendors when items are damaged in shipment.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely payment of all tax liabilities.
  • Assists Manager with all aspects of receiving merchandise: not limited to obtaining shipments from the dock, checking-in and pricing new merchandise and taking merchandise to storage. 
    • Exemplifies a customer-focused, positive, and collaborative attitude with volunteers, peers, leaders, customers, and other business partners.


    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience.
    • Experience with QuickBooks software or exhibits computer skills, and the ability to learn new programs quickly.


    • Experience in a retail environment.
    • Experience in a non-profit organization.
