At LMH Health, we are committed to being a partner for lifelong health to the community. We are looking for patient-focused Employee Health RN / LPN to join our team. The Employee Health Nurse helps to ensure the health of LMH employees through management of employee injury and illness follow-up and reporting, staff education, and personal protective equipment and immunization programs. Incumbent serves as a resource to staff with questions regarding communicable illnesses.

  • Advise and research current best practices for employee health policy and procedures.
  • Manage employee injury internal investigation and reporting process; regularly communicate with workers’ compensation carrier and evaluate accommodations and return to work options for employees with restricted duties.  Collaborate with Human Resources regarding these issues and other non-work related medical restrictions and employee health related concerns.
  • Collaborate with Business Health Center practitioners on new hire screenings with identifiable limitations and/or health risks; make employee referrals for those with limitations and risks to appropriate resources; and ensure appropriate vaccinations given and documented.
  • Investigate, follow-up, consult and problem solve with employees regarding infection control questions or concerns.  
  • Track, trend and report data regarding needle sticks and exposures to Infection Prevention and Environment of Care Committees.  Trend employee illnesses/injuries to identify safety and health issues.  Collect and report data for employee health topics, such as lifting practices.
  • Plan, implement and conduct annual flu vaccine program.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and other leaders as situations require.
  • Performs other duties as needed or assigned.



  • Registered Nurse in state of Kansas    


  • Bachelors in Nursing
  • Prior experience in a hospital/acute care setting
  • Employee Health Experience
