At LMH Health, we are committed to being a partner for lifelong health for the communities we serve. The Gift Shop Manager has overall responsibility, authority and accountability for successfully managing a profitable business in the Gift Shop and Mario’s Closet. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Maintains overall responsibility of and authority for planning the variety of merchandise and it pricing.
  2. Demonstrates expertise in retail management with capabilities of handling the entire retail operations including assessing shop needs, buying, evaluation, planning, implementation, motivating, organizing, budgeting, customer service, problem solving, decision making, business management and marketing.
  3. Responsible for display and rotation of merchandise to enhance sales.
  4. Confirms accuracy in reports and record keeping.
  5. Demonstrates expertise in working with the technology in the shops, including but not limited to: Gift Logic POS, Quickbooks, Microsoft Outlook, and Credit card processing.
  6. Provides a satisfying environment for volunteer workers. Providing training, coaching and day to day supervision of volunteer staff members.
  7. Supervises, coaches, trains, and evaluates Gift Shop Assistant Manager
  8. Exhibits excellent computer skills, and maintain the ability to learn new programs.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years retail buying and retail management
  • Working knowledge and comfort with QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, POS software

Preferred

  • Experience in volunteer organization
  • Inventory Management
