Senior Global Compensation Analyst

We are adding a Senior Global Compensation Analyst to our growing People Operations team. We seek a compensation expert to manage existing global compensation programs in the US, India and Colombia, continuously improve them and take us to the next level as we grow.  Core responsibilities are to collaborate within PeopleOps and across functions and levels of management to develop and maintain compensation frameworks in the US and internationally, implement compensation programs via tools and training and support, automate and administer global compensation activities. Outcomes

  • As the global compensation expert and best practice resource, provide analytic support in the design, development and implementation of business group specific and global compensation practices and programs including administration, data analysis, research and compensation cost modeling
  • Lead global market compensation analysis process, evaluate our rewards programs (cash and long-term compensation and benefits) competitiveness relative to our compensation philosophy and principles, recommending changes to our salary structures and other reward programs for all roles
  • Accurately interpret, counsel, communicate, and educate People Operations, recruiters, managers, and executives on pay decisions, policies and guidelines for relevant employee and candidate transactions, partnering to make recommendations based on data
  • Build models and tools to make compensation analysis and decision support accessible to PeopleOps and managers globally, empowering team members to engage in thoughtful analysis and effective pay management  
  • Maintain survey provider relationships and survey data submissions; Develop and participate in annual and ad hoc compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position
  • Prepare for and lead annual bottom up focal reviews providing guidelines, decision support such as compa ratio data, mechanisms to make internal comparisons with roll up of recommendations for level by level management approval
  • Drive automation for efficiency and data integrity; Configure HRIS with global salary and job structures; partner with People team to configure HRIS workflows to accurately maintain pay data and automate pay administration where possible
  • Participate in staffing processes to attract and retain highly sought-after talent: perform job evaluations and craft job descriptions, provide market job match recommendations and compensation data points for job requisitions, annual operating plan budgeting and internal and external offers
  • Perform staff support activities such as jobs audits for content and preparing job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties and requirements, determine appropriate salary grade assignment, formulate recommendations regarding FLSA exemptions, and recommend corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems

 

Requirements

  • BS Degree or equivalent plus 5+ years of compensation experience in a multi-national, high technology company
  • Expert knowledge of compensation salary planning, cash compensation programs, market pricing and analytics
  • Strong operational track record in compensation administration and analysis with proven success as a thoughtful compensation partner to the business
  • Ability to use data to support and make decisions, articulate the business reasons and program ideas to managers, HR Reps and Recruiters
  • Competency in understanding, interpreting, and communicating procedures, policies, information, ideas and instructions though strong written and verbal communication, and engaging interpersonal skills
  • Experience, and enthusiastically enjoy, being the hands-on project leader of annual base pay increase (focal) planning and execution for an international company of 500+
  • Experience with ADP
