Role: IT Project Manager, Integration
Reports To: Vice President, Finance
Location: Lawrence, MA (with some remote flexibility)

The IT Project Manager is responsible for actively engaging with Finance, Operations, HR, and Sales functions to create and execute upon a plan that will bridge newly acquired assets and existing practices. Working with local and remote teams, the IT Project Manager will ensure seamless integration of all business applications within this growing organization.

This is a temporary consulting role for 8-12 months, with the potential for permanent hire. This role requires a results-oriented, proactive individual that is highly motivated and organized. The IT Project Manager will be expected to implement, upgrade or redesign IT projects including but not limited to: 

- Finance: 
o Improve and roll-out of the Procare School Management tool including reporting, BI tools, KPI’s and interface with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting package
o Implement a new Treasury tool following Corporate Guidelines
o Map current accounting system to the new parent system that includes general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, financial reporting and budgeting
o Build banking interface with the MS Dynamics 365 software platformo Build interface between the payroll system and MS Dynamics 365
o Build interface between the current local finance reporting tool, Adaptive Insight, and the target accounting tool, MS Dynamics 365

- Sales: 
o Roll-out the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, a lead management tool
o Coordinate phone systems integration to support family inquiries

- HR:
o Integrate Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to support recruiting and hiring initiatives

- Analytics
o Design and populate new reports generated from newly integrated tools to help drive business decisions 

Responsibilities

• Perform gap analysis between financial, operational and HR tools’ functionalities and client's requirements
• Ensure the effective integration of existing programs and strategies with newly acquired assets/schools so that long- and short-term business goals are attained
• Coordinate and monitor operational project tool as required for the planning, development, testing, and implementation phases according to departmental and IT Corporate Guidelines
• Work with Finance and Treasury local and group teams to deliver change management to ensure new processes/technology are deployed effectively
• Complete integration of the operational (Procare), sales (Child Care CRM), and HR (Jobvite) tools in the Heartworks/Building Blocks companies
• Train end-users to accurately and consistently use systems
• Document integration processes for future repetition with new schools
• Complete projects in a timely manner within budget controls and defined quality standards
• Provide communications regarding projects status to all appropriate parties throughout the lifecycle of the project, including communication with group headquarter (overseas)

Minimum Qualifications

• Required: 5-10 years of project management experience in an application/software development environment, preferably with experience driving solutions on Enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP systems, Sales/Service tools, HR systems)
• Experience in end-to-end IT project management and the system development lifecycle, leading and supporting cross-functional and IT transformation initiatives and facilitating discussions with executives
• Experience using Finance systems and with Finance business processes (Accruals, Revenue Recognition, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Dynamics AX is appreciated or deep experience in a comparable CRM/ERP system
• Proficient with project management principles (e.g. resource allocation, cost estimation, risk analysis)
• Demonstrated practical experience, flexibility, and adaptability with multiple project management approaches (waterfall, agile)
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams with an ability to drive team collaboration, communication, and effectiveness
• Strong reporting and communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to effectively articulate complex concepts and ideas to broad audiences.
• Experience establishing new processes and successfully managing change
• Proven track record of effective decision-making
• Experience coaching/mentoring others
• Strong facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills can effectively drive discussions and decisions toward desired results, able to get things done without formal authority
• Experience effectively partnering with vendors and consultants
• Experience effectively working with globally distributed teams
