These solutions replace manual, tedious processes and allow legal teams to focus on the work that matters most to their clients. The Practice Advisor (Workflow) team at Litera collaborates closely with prospective customers and Litera’s Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to guide sales and drive revenue. In this role, you will take the knowledge you’ve gained working at a law firm, combined with passion for technology, and deliver critically important guidance to prospective and current customers. You will represent Litera as a subject matter expert and partner with cross-functional groups to connect the dots between the practice of law and how Litera’s workflow solutions can help.

A Day in the Life:

  • Actively listen to prospective customers, identify their objectives, and develop approaches to Litera’s workflow solutions that deliver value.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups within Litera to educate and advise on your area of legal expertise to help advance our solutions and inform Litera’s product, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Deliver product demonstrations tailored to illustrate how the solutions meet the customers’ needs.
  • Lead pilots for prospective customers that highlight the value of the solutions.

Role progression:

Within 1 month, you will:

  • Meet your team and learn the nuts and bolts of our business, and where we are going.
  • Complete new hire onboarding including eLearning courses, instructor-led training, role specific mentorship, and more.
  • Learn best practices, processes, and business tools used including Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, and Litera’s workflow product suite.

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Become an expert in Litera's workflow solutions and use cases.
  • Understand critical competitive information and discover customer needs.
  • Feel confident to create and deliver product demonstrations to stakeholders across the law firm ecosystem (CIOs, Managing Partners, IT Directors, Individual Partners, as well as key stakeholders in the business side of a law firm including BD, Marketing, LegalOps etc.)
  • Lead pilots to help prospective customers realize the benefits of the solutions prior to sale.
  • Liaise with cross-functional groups within Litera to educate and advise on your area of expertise and relay product feedback.

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Establish yourself as a subject matter expert and go-to resource for product expertise, workflow best practices, and legal practice insights.
  • Boost Litera’s competitive advantage through internal and external education and enablement efforts.
  • Represent Litera by speaking at conferences and other events.
  • Participate in Litera’s bi-annual performance review process.

About You:

  • You have a strong desire to learn new technologies in a fast-moving company.
  • Excited by the idea of innovating the legal industry and improving the way legal teams work.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Creative and resourceful problem-solving skills.
  • 3+ years of legal practice experience, M&A preferred.
