DevSecOps Engineer
Description
What you need:
- 3+ years’ experience in DevOps 2+ years’ experience identifying and remediating cloud security flaws
- Curiosity, strong initiative, drive and self-direction.
- Comfort with change and a fast-paced environment.
- Conduct cloud security assessments and report the findings.
- Work with DevOPS teams for the remediation of the identified & Existing flaws
- Effectively communicate and explain the identified security vulnerabilities to BU Teams.
- Demonstrate continuous growth and consistency in the performance of the assigned tasks.
- Demonstrate out of the box thinking and suggest for improvements if any. Display excellent understanding of cloud security and best practices
- Meet or Exceed performance expectations for the last three quarters.
Key Responsibility:
- This role will be a part of an energetic and dynamic team of Product / Application
security professionals, working closely with development, DevOps, and technology teams servicing a global business & customer base. - Provide technical expertise in cloud security, SSDLC execution and cloud security issues remediation.
- The DevSecOps Engineer will report to the Manager, Application Security and contribute to Latera’s application and cloud security architecture evolution.
- Works with minimal supervision, but mostly with the Manager, Application Security and the Global Head of Security.
- Expectation from this role is to work insentiently in most of the tasks with minimal supervision on the standard day to day activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, Technical science with 3 to 5 years relevant work experience.
- 3-5 years of knowledge and experience in DevOPs & Security
