A Day In The Life

• Threat and vulnerability analysis using MCAS, Microsoft 365 Defender, and other related tools,
• Maintain automated incident response workflows
• Cloud-hosted infrastructure security hardening by following industry best-practices
• Proactively monitor endpoints and servers for suspicious activity and anomalies
• Handle security incidents, concerns, and questions reported by the internal staff or malicious activity detection systems
• Assess and detect misconfigured resources that might pose a threat to the entire organisation
• Perform periodic access reviews and phishing tests
• Improve overall organisation security score

• 2-4 years working experience with Microsoft O365 and Azure Security tools like MCAS, Endpoint Manager, Defender for Endpoint, Security and Compliance Center and Azure Security Center.
• 2- 4 years performing security event reviews using automated tools while tracking work in a ticketing system.
• Excellent knowledge of the TCP/IP stack
• Familiarity with UNIX and Linux-based operating systems
• 2 years working with Active Directory or Azure Active Directory
• 3 years' experience working with Cloud Providers such as AWS or Azure
• Good understanding of stateful and stateless firewalling
• Experience with well-known VPN protocols
• Excellent knowledge of Computer Networking concepts
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as in a cross functional team.
