Our Director, Paid Search position is a full-time remote role offering a competitive salary of $175K to $200K as well as a comprehensive performance based bonus package. In this role you'll spearhead our digital advertising strategies, leveraging your expertise to maximize ROI and drive targeted traffic to our platforms while working alongside a talented team to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of paid search marketing.

Responsibilities: 

  • Own the overall strategy, vision and results for the team
  • Partner with product and leadership to execute on goals and roadmap, develop strategies and profitability drive customer acquisition across product lines
  • Implement and adapt best practices, processes, tools, and technology for paid search channels; including measurement and data capabilities
  • Lead team to identify new optimization tests and opportunities for additional investment
  • Planning, managing and executing a tactical roadmap
  • Develop and implement capabilities on a global basis that improve automation, speed to market, efficiency and quality of media performance; that reduce risk; and that better utilize our data
  • Drive creative and media innovation through testing, strategy and processes that are scalable and measurable across business lines
  • Ensure new capabilities are fully deployed with in-house teams; paid search is currently outsourced to an agency and we are looking for a strategic leader to bring it in-house within a quarter and grow from thereLead a team of ICs; including career planning and development of personnel
  • Be responsible for the employee life cycle including; disciplinary actions, performance reviews, goal reaching activities, fostering a positive environment, following company policies, etc.
  • Occasional travel

Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong track record and knowledge of Paid Search platforms
  • Proven experience with leading and managing teams, setting strategy and vision, and enabling growth
  • Master level expertise in biddable channels
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience working with analytics platforms
  • Experience in running multi-million dollars global budgets for paid channels
  • Exceptional track record and a strong approach to optimizing, testing new ways of executing and new traffic programs
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities, ability to develop strong trust-based relationships and manage effectively
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing technologies and new developments in the space
