Organic Search Marketing Manager
Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search rankings, traffic, and conversions
- Define clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics to measure success
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value keywords and topics relevant to the target audience
- Analyze keyword performance, search volume, and competition to inform content strategy and optimization efforts
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to develop and optimize content that aligns with SEO best practices and user intent
- Oversee technical SEO initiatives, including website audits, site architecture optimization, URL structure, internal linking, and mobile-friendliness
- Work closely with web development and IT teams to implement technical SEO recommendations
- Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, and image alt attributes to improve search engine visibility
- Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies, including link building, social bookmarking, and influencer outreach, to enhance the organization's online authority and reputation
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the organic search landscape
- Utilize data visualization tools to build dashboards and standardize reporting, allowing for real-time insights, data-driven decision making and goal setting
- Stay informed about the latest trends, developments, and best practices in organic search marketing and digital marketing
Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field or commensurate experience
- 5+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful SEO strategies
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices
- Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work with various types of data to develop and analyze trends and insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Robust understanding of eCommerce processes
