Senior Sales Manager, Global LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (German)

We are looking for a Senior Sales Leader to join our global LinkedIn Marketing Solutions team as a Senior Sales Manager within the Online Sales Organization (OSO). OSO is a fast-paced, high-growth global team that is transforming the way advertisers connect and build relationships with their customers.

You will lead a growing team of Sales Managers and Individual Contributors who are responsible for consulting with advertisers at small- to medium-sized businesses across multiple countries and industries – and helping to ensure their long-term success with LinkedIn’s full-funnel Marketing Solutions product suite. You will develop and execute on a sales strategy and go-to-market, enabling your sales team to drive long-term success with their clients at scale. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead, develop and inspire a team of Sales Managers and Account Executives towards excellence and to overachieve on business goals 
  • Develop and execute on a scaled strategy to grow and retain medium to large-sized Marketing Solutions OSO customers
  • Identify areas of opportunities in our services and contribute to the development of systems, tools and processes to realize those opportunities 
  • Influence product enhancements, collaborating closely with marketing, product and other cross-functional teams 
  • Recommend and influence scalable operations solutions and improvements to support LinkedIn’s continued OSO advertiser growth
  • Influence Product and Marketing teams to ensure new product introductions and messaging align with segment needs
  • Possess strong general management capabilities. e.g. ability to report on key business trends, create business plans and quarterly reviews

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 8+ years of experience of managing teams selling into mid to large sized companies across multiple industries
  • 5+ years of experience managing managers and developing a team
  • Fluency in both verbal and written English and fluency in German

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Senior leader with a deep understanding of SMB (B2B) customers, their business challenges and marketing goals; the executive will have led SMB sales or marketing teams focused on this customer segment.
  • Operational skills with the ability to size and optimize the German market; identify challenges objectively and make strategic recommendations including processes, systems and product, autonomously.
  • Commercial mindset with a balanced data-driven/science and sales approach to optimizing customer potential, customer value and revenue contribution to LinkedIn.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional partners at the Director and Sr. Director level.
  • Demonstrated success in leading leaders, inspiring an organization of Managers and ICs to reach their revenue, team and professional goals.
