LTS GTM Business Operations Manager

 

The LinkedIn Talent Solutions (LTS) Go-to-Market BizOps team is searching for a strategic and results-driven Business Operations Manager to join our team. This person will partner with senior leaders across the Global Sales and Marketing Organizations to drive strategic initiatives that shape the growth trajectory of the Talent Solutions business.

 

In this high-visibility role, you will be a key business partner to senior members of the LTS Executive, Marketing, and Sales teams. You will collaborate and work closely with cross-functional partners across Sales Operations, Product Marketing, Pricing, and FP&A to drive forward strategic initiatives. From developing the launch strategy – including sales motions, account prioritization, KPIs, and tollgates – for new products we’re bringing to market, to developing and implementing strategies to accelerate core product growth within the existing customer base, this role is at the forefront of operationalizing disruptive ideas to grow a multi-billion dollar business.

 

The ideal candidate is at the intersection of strong strategic and analytical thinking combined with leadership skills to drive change. This candidate will demonstrate quick learning and an impressive history of driving results.  Most importantly, the candidate will deliver through strong relationships and use excellent communication to reach alignment across executive teams, keep projects on track, and have fun.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sales leadership to deliver strategic projects that enable the business to execute its highest priority initiatives (e.g. building go-to-market strategies for new product launches; developing acceleration plans for new commercial models; etc.)
  • Leverage LinkedIn data to conduct in-depth analyses across areas of the business (e.g. customer segments / regions / product lines) to develop deep understanding of key value drivers, identifying improvement areas and opportunities
  • Act as the strategic thought partner to various members of the Sales Leadership team, helping shape the sales strategy for various segments of the Talent Solutions business
  • Serve as the connective tissue of a cross-functional team (including Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, Business Development, Corporate Development, and other internal groups, etc.), working to share knowledge and drive people towards a common goal
  • Inspire teams to break organizational assumptions and challenge status quo

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of work experience at a management consulting firm, investment bank, private equity firm and/or technology company
  • BA/BS degree

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA degree, or advanced degree
  • Experience leading large cross-functional teams through change management programs
  • Ability to articulately present and debate recommendations at the executive level
  • Experience with enterprise software or SaaS GTM strategy
  • Experience in growth strategy in technology, media, recruiting or related industries
  • Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources and delivering results in challenging situations
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations
  • Technically proficient (or interest in learning) SQL, experience a plus.
