The Role:  

We are looking for a product marketing leader who is passionate, strategic, and insights-driven to oversee our app engagement team. You and your team will be proactive drivers of adoption and retention in the LinkedIn mobile app, focusing on user acquisition, member retention, and our notification ecosystem.

The ideal candidate has a track record of developing high-performing team cultures and thrives on building cross-functional partnerships to deliver results on complex projects. They will also have experience in crafting an aspirational vision for a consumer app experience and rallying a team to build to that vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coach and develop a high-performing team of product marketers
  • Shape growth and product strategies by developing audience and channel expertise 
  • Oversee a portfolio of performance marketing, setting the strategy and cadence for optimization and experimentation. 
  • Own an end-to-end solution for tracking, retargeting, and reporting our app marketing 
  • Be an insights-driven leader and build a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors, partnering closely with market research, user experience research, data science and others
  • Work cross-functionally with teams from product management, engineering, design, data science and many more to ensure LinkedIn’s job seeker products meet our users’ needs
  • Relentlessly test and optimize to produce industry-leading results

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years marketing experience with focus on product and consumer marketing
  • 3+ years management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership skills and a passion for managing and growing people
  • Analytical and problem solving skills; comfortable leveraging large amounts of data to drive decisions and a passion for continuous testing and optimization
  • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit; able to build strong internal relationships, and consensus and alignment on critical initiatives
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing time and resources based on business impact
  • Experience in marketing products in the social networking or job-seeking marketplaces
  • Executive presence and strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with best in class marketing technology, data and processes
