Principal Learning and Development Consultant

Job Description

Based in Dublin, our EMEA LATAM HQ, and reporting to the Learning and Development Senior Director, this role will be responsible for providing learning and development expertise throughout the region, to support the expansion and growth of LinkedIn’s Learning and Development offerings.


This role will be responsible for the following:

  • Consult and engage with senior stakeholders and leaders in the business as their trusted Learning and Development partner
  • Represent initiatives at executive level to ensure alignment with business priorities and secure ongoing relevance
  • Partner with our cross functional global colleagues to ensure consistency of roll out of senior leader learning experiences
  • Conduct focused and in-depth needs analysis to identify root cause and targeted levers for behavior change
  • Develop influential relationships with stakeholders and partners from various cross-functional teams throughout LinkedIn
  • Complete regular review and strategy development for new and existing learning offerings
  • Build vision, strategy and program design to equip, engage, motivate and inspire our employees to do the best work of their careers.
  • Lead focus initiatives to implement improvements to what we offer our internal clients
  • Facilitate learning offerings including senior audiences developing customized content to suit their needs.
  • Lead cross-functional partnership and collaborations to identify opportunities across organizations to drive greater impact and strategy alignment
  • Complete evaluations of learning offerings to establish impact
  • Actively engage in applying best practice and process improvements with global impact.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years’ experience in senior Learning & Development role in a fast-moving environment
  • Designed and delivered learning offerings to senior audiences including consultation with senior executives
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passionate about learning and development
  • Significant proven expertise in leading L&D initiatives within a fast-moving organization
  • Expertise in designing, building and delivering learning offerings with complex material to sophisticated audience
  • Capability of working on initiative and forming strong networks and working relationships
  • Experience in providing L&D expertise and consulting partnership with a Human Resource Management function. 
  • Proven strong Project Management experience essential
  • Excellent facilitation skills and proven delivery of training programs, at senior level.
  • Strong international experience
  • Strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and presentations and public speaking skills
