SUMMARY:
We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to support the growth and engagement of our online communities across two distinct brands. The ideal candidate is a storyteller at heart, someone who can produce compelling, branded content that captures the lifestyle and culture of two passionate customer bases and makes our brands stand out in a crowded digital landscape.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Drive engagement across social media channels and increase followers
- Own the creation and scheduling of content across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube from concept to publish
- Photograph and film products, installs, and lifestyle content (in-shop or at events)
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, DMs, and brand mentions
- Research trends, hashtags, and competitor activity within the motorcycle and trucking communities
- Help coordinate with riders, truckers, and influencers for user-generated content and partnerships
- Track basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth)
- Support the marketing team with campaign ideas and content calendars
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:
- Reports to: Manager, Engineering
QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.
Education and/or Experience:
Expected: Currently pursuing/recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Preferred: Extensive Experience creating short-form reels/TikToks as well as longer YouTube-style content
Communication Skills:
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
Other Skills:
- Photo/video editing skills (Adobe, CapCut, or similar)
- Experience with Meta Business Suite
- Strong writing skills with an ability to match brand voices
- Self-starter who can take initiative and meet deadlines
- Ability to work on-site at our facility (Lincoln, NE)
- Some travel to industry events
- Portfolio submission is required — motorsports or automotive work is a bonus
