SUMMARY:
The purpose of this job is to process parts according to customer specifications and production efficiencies by performing the following duties.
WAGE TYPE: Hourly
FLSA Exemption: Non-exempt
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Prepares parts for the application of coating including the visual inspection of parts prior to application.
- Monitors solution quantity and consistency of application to specifications.
- Masks areas not to be coated.
- Sets up and controls application rigging to include proper preparation of coating solution, parts, and tooling.
- Operates line specific equipment.
- Removes materials, parts, and work pieces from application rigging using appropriate tools and methods.
- Prepares parts for processing.
- Cleans and maintains coating equipment and area.
- Records production data on specified forms.
- Performs visual inspection of finished parts and preparation for packaging.
- Follows established safety procedures and work instructions.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
- Could potentially come in contact and/or handle hazardous chemicals/hazardous waste.
- Environmental responsibility is our commitment to our communities.
- Proper disposal of waste such as recyclables, standard waste, hazardous waste, etc. is expected.
- Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.

- Reports to: Department Manager
QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.
Education and/or Experience:
Expected: One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Communication Skills:
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language in order to communicate well with our vendors, internal suppliers and interpret invoices.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Other Skills:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.
- Problem-solving skills.
