SUMMARY:  

The Leader, People Resources, is responsible for managing the direct administrative functions of the People Resources department. They oversee the benefit enrollment process, data integrity of the HRIS, policy and procedures, Leave Management, and the on-boarding and off-boarding process with the Talent Team. The People Resources Leader will serve as the face of HR to our leaders, managers and people and help to integrate all locations into the Lincoln Industries culture. 

  

 

WAGE TYPE: Salaried Exempt, FLSA Exemption: Administrative Exemption. 

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  

  • Assist with administrative requirements of benefits plans participation such as insurance, personnel transactions such as new hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employment status.
  • Support general benefit inquiries.
  • Communicate Leave Eligibility, track hours, and assist with Short-Term Disability Claims while partnering with Occupational Health to coordinate Return-to-work physicals and drug screens.
  • Manage data integrity with HRIS including people data, role, labor, pay rates, benefits, etc.
  • Work with supervisors and managers on policies and procedures while providing guidance with disciplinary actions.
  • Manage Open Enrollment period with preparing materials, documents, HRIS wizards, communications, and accuracy of enrollment with carriers.
  • Support Annual Health Screen testing with Wellness Test.
  • Facilitate New Hire benefit meetings and conduct enrollments as needed.
  • Works with supervisors and managers to facilitate and continuously strengthen people relations.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Works closely with Learning and Development function to ensure the on-boarding of new people is successful.
  • Support all cultural and communication initiatives.
  • Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals.
  • Environmental responsibility is our commitment to our communities.
  • Proper disposal of waste such as recyclables, standard waste, hazardous waste, etc. is expected.
  • Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers

  

 

  

  

  

  

QUALIFICATIONS:  

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.  Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required. 

  

  

Education and/or Experience: 

Expected: bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in human resources-related field.               

  

Preferred:  Human resources degree, PHR or SPHR certification.  Benefits administration experience preferred.
