SUMMARY:
Lead the technical aspects of project implementation to include sourcing, design, prove-out, and installation of new equipment and new processes to improve or augment the production processes at Lincoln Industries.

- Responsible for the identification, development, and implementation of process improvement/automation initiatives.
- Use of troubleshooting and continuous improvement techniques to resolve quality, safety, and productivity issues in an operational environment.
- Identification and development of partnerships with key vendors/supplier.
- Facilitation of financial justification for new projects and high-level project management of approved capital improvement and new process implementation projects
- Training and best practice sharing of continuous improvement methods for manufacturing optimization.
- Ensures follow-up on initiatives and programs are completed and realized gains are maintained. This includes on-going status reviews and scheduling of reviews with all vested parties to make sure projects are implemented throughput/savings are maintained.
- Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:
- Reports to: Director, Engineering
- Supervises: No direct reports
QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.
Education and/or Experience:
Expected:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing or process environment with a focus on process implementation or process improvement
- Strong computer skills
- Training experience
- Strong communication skills – shop floor through management
- Creative
- Leadership
- Financial justification
Preferred: Experience in implementation of large-scale projects and automation in a manufacturing environment.
Communication Skills:
Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
