SUMMARY: Assembles fabricated parts from relatively small or light components to completed units.
WAGE TYPE: Hourly
FLSA Exemption: Non-exempt
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Use hands, hand tools, and small power tools to assemble units.
- Operate both manual and energy powered cutting equipment.
- Follow established safety procedures and work instructions to perform the functions of the job.
- High attention to detail and dexterous use of hands and fingers to assemble units.
- Perform final inspection of completed assemblies.
- Package completed assemblies.
- Involve in maintaining inventory accuracy of parts and finished goods.
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Participate in root cause analysis on quality issues
- Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals.
- Environmental responsibility is our commitment to our communities.
- Proper disposal of waste such as recyclables, standard waste, hazardous waste, etc. is expected.
- Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:
- Reports to: Area Leader
QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.
Education and/or Experience:
Expected: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Six months related experience or training.
Preferred: One-year experience or related training.
Communication Skills:
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
Other Skills:
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Possesses the knowledge and ability to use different measuring tools such as pi tape and measuring tape.
