 SUMMARY: Lincoln Industries, a leader in innovative manufacturing solutions, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with primarily new clients, identifying their needs, and offering tailored solutions to drive sales growth. Your key responsibilities will include generating leads, conducting market research, traveling to find, negotiate, and close projects, and collaborating with the internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets. You must be an excellent communicator with negotiation skills, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

  • Grow business and fill available capacity profitably
  • Develop and execute sales strategy to drive new business, including e-mail and marketing campaigns, prospecting, cold-calling, leading discovery calls that result in rfq’s
  • Proactively work with prospective and established customers to advance sales opportunities
  • Manage and execute a sales plan including budget management and revenue generation targets
  • Visit and work with sub-tier supply base and internal departments to understand capabilities
  • Work with segment manager/director, business development managers and development engineers to identify new growth opportunities with existing customers
  • Work with customer service, team leadership, warehouse and production teams in order to meet customer needs
  • Budget and forecast the cost and revenue of existing and new projects
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques
  • Keep records, prepare reports on sales activities, utilize a CRM as required
  • Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals
  • Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers

 

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

Reports to: Commercial Segment Manager

 

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.

Education and Experience:

Expected: College degree and four years of proven customer service and sales experience

 

Communication Skills:

  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
  • Ability to build immediate rapport with customers over the phone.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in writing emails and customer mailers.

 

Other Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel 50% or more
