Senior Technical Accountant 

Working in a high growth and fast paced environment, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for the international businesses of the Company as well as technical accounting and consolidation support.  In addition,  this role will work across the company together with the finance team to aid in the review of monthly and quarterly results. The Lighthouse Accounting Operations team believes strongly in mentorship and development. 

What You Will Do:

  • Working with the oversees accounting team, manage the international company closes, reporting as well as governance
  • Support the establishment of oversees growth by the Company.
  • Support the integrations of acquisitions and help implement and support ASC 805, ASC 606, debt and equity
  • Prepare monthly intercompany journal entries and ensure all intercompany balances eliminate
  • Support the monthly close and consolidation process
  • Calculate monthly/quarterly commission payment amounts and prepare monthly commission accruals
  • Assist in the development, documentation and monitoring of internal controls
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and expense reviews as assigned, including related journal entries
  • Review and recommend update to accounting processes and procedures as well as be integral in the conversion to a new system
  • Support the annual external audits
  • Other duties as assigned
What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and CPA required
  • 4+ years of experience in the accounting field 
  • Public Accounting experience with big 4 or national firm a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply Technical Accounting to transactions
  • Willing to grow and develop in this role as well as within the department
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines within a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications
  • Capable of finding effective and efficient solutions to problems
