Position at Lifespark

The Office RN is primarily responsible for the day to day operations of home health clinical services. The Office RN establishes, implements and evaluates goals and objectives for home health services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.

Position Functions and Responsibilities

Clinical and Client Leadership and Support

  • Coordinates and oversees all direct and indirect client services provided by clinical organization personnel.
  • Provides guidance and counseling to coordinators and clinical team to assist them in continually improving all aspects of home health care services, provided through organization personnel.
  • Assures compliance with all local, state and federal laws regarding licensure and certification of organization personnel and maintains compliance to the Lifesprk Home Care standards.
  • Provides help in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client and family/caregiver care to all clinical personnel as indicated.
  • Oversees the maintenance of client clinical records, statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities.
  • Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of adequate and appropriate inventory supplies and equipment for the provision of client services. Orders clinical supplies.
  • Assists with in-service and continuing education programs to meet education and training needs of organization personnel.
  • Assists with the evaluation of organization performance via performance improvement program and productivity. Assures for the quality and safe delivery of home health services provided through the organization.
  • Completes tasks within HCHB.
  • Manages labs.

Sales, Customer Service, and Support

  • Stays informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care; shares information with appropriate organization personnel.
  • Promotes home health referrals in the health care community.

Other duties as assigned



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with people in the second half of life.
  • Experience in customer service/direct client contact field preferred.


  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Minnesota Nursing License.

Knowledge / Skills

  • Knowledge of business management and governmental regulations.
  • Has excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience using technology including: Microsoft Office, Smart Phone, Calendaring, Clinical Software platforms (EMR), Wi-Fi, Printers, and Internet Browsing.
  • Background utilizing EMR required with Homecare Homebase experience highly desired.
  • Ability to hand fast-paced environment and change.
