Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue and retention of Liferay DXP Cloud in the EMEA region
  • Work with Liferay technical teams to define the implementation architectures, developing deep expertise in Liferay Cloud technologies
  • Lead, implement and own, in conjunction with the Global Alliances Team, all projects that connect DXP Cloud with Liferay’s Partner Ecosystem
  • Support the partnerization of DXP Cloud proposals, commercial strategies, positioning documents and collateral
  • Be the local liaison with the Business and Operations teams, supporting the escalation and business strategies’ expansion locally
  • Partner with the regional business teams (Alliances, Sales, Marketing, Pre-sales), in order to formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of Liferay Cloud solutions
  • Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of Liferay DXP Cloud and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for meeting customer needs
  • Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to internal Liferay teams, the Partner Ecosystem and ultimately and when appropriate, customers (still considering or already using Liferay DXP Cloud)
  • Comfortable with ambiguous situations, recognizing when it's appropriate to introduce more structure and process without derailing the current output

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years sales/marketing/consulting experience with distributed teams
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to confidently lead commercial and high level technical discussions
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Experience presenting to both large and small audiences (Executives, IT Management, and developers)
  • Experience communicating across internal and external organizations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business degree preferred, with at least high level expertise in technology disciplines
  • Experience with Liferay technologies such as DXP, DXP Cloud, Commerce, Analytics Cloud and Portal
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • Experience with cloud solutions and/or with migration to the cloud strategies in previous experiences
  • An advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Technology or related discipline
