About You and this Role

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who enjoys work at night and is available to work 12/36 hours. You might be a technology enthusiast, a curious person and be thirsty for knowledge. This person should also have a good English communication skill as he/she is going to work directly with teams for other countries such as Hungary and the USA.

If you join our team you will learn everything about containers, and container orchestration with Kubernetes. One of your passions will become building DevOps tools that make it easier for people to build, deploy and scale apps on our Cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go through an immersion with our DevOps Engineers and Incident Management Analysts to learn how to handle the demands of the role
  • Monitor Liferay’s Cloud Systems and respond to requests within SLA
  • Respond to monitoring events within the SLAs following documented procedures
  • Respond to security threats within the SLAs following the trained and agreed workflows
  • Manage release processes and pipelines
  • Manage support tickets and patches for systems
  • Execute documented changes on our Cloud infrastructure
  • Provide technical support to include troubleshooting user operating problems, application problems, system configuration issues and malfunctions, and network operating problems in a cloud environment.

Required qualifications

  • Be available to work at night in a 12/36 hours shift
  • Be able to communicate in English (Intermediate level). Your day to day work will be working along with teams outside Brazil!
