About You and this Role

As a People Services Specialist, you will collaborate with the People Services leadership team to design, implement, and optimize programs that enhance the employee experience and drive organizational success. You will utilize your strong understanding of payroll processes, excellent attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, strong interpersonal abilities and teamwork on a daily basis to ensure our employees are paid on time and in compliance with all regulations.
 
Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement for this position, as you will be communicating with internal and external stakeholders in English. This role reports to the People Services Lead based in Recife and will work with the Regional Latin America teams.

 

Key Objectives

  • Prepare, process and audit payroll information, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and meeting deadlines;
  • Ensure compliance with legal obligations (eSocial, CAGED, SEFIP, DIRF, RAIS, DCTFWeb, FGTS, INSS, IRRF etc.);Manage, calculate and process vacation, 13 salary, termination, bonus, benefits, overtime, etc.;
  • Prepare and review contracts, amendments, collective agreements;
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR systems;
  • Use analytical skills in payroll to help drive better decisions for the business;
  • Assist employees or managers with questions about payroll policies, pay, or other related payroll matters;
  • Maintain payroll-related files and records and stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure full compliance;
  • Responsible for payroll audit and support in case of labor inspections;
  • Support, review and create People policies & processes when necessary;
  • Handle medium complex queries;
  • Contribute to People projects as required regionally and globally;
  • Mentor & guide Associate People Operations Specialist.

 

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Human Resources);
  • Availability to work in office-based model in Recife;
  • Strong experience in Personnel Department/ Human Resources;
  • Advanced knowledge of labor and social security laws, eSsocial and related obligations;
  • Experience with ERP payroll systems;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory (communication with global teams and leaders  on a daily basis);
  • Excellent work ethic and grounding of discretion and confidentiality;
  • Softskills: organized, disciplined, teamwork, detail-oriented, autonomous, proactive and curious.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Spanish.
