About You and this Role

The Finance Intern  will report to the Global Accounts Administrative Project Manager in Recife and will work closely with the North America team and/or the EMEA team to execute administrative accounting tasks. If you’re curious about how a global finance organization works and want to participate in projects that will have a lasting impact, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Objectives

  • Accounts Receivable (AR) - Issue sales invoices, process customer payments, and connect with customers and work closely with Sales/Sales Operations to facilitate timely collections. 

  • Account Payable (AP) - Process vendor invoices, vendor payments, and log entries in the accounting system. Assist the team with managing cash flows. 

  • Local sales/use/VAT tax filings. 

  • Ad hoc administrative support (eg., AP/AR reports, sales/use tax filings, manage customers' vendor/payment portals). 

  • Maintain Finance Confluence page. 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in progress (Business Administration, Accounting or related fields) 

  • Detail orientation and excellent organizational skills 

  • Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy 

  • Strong team player who is very comfortable working as part of a team and working with professionals in different locations 

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills 

  • Advanced in English required 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel. 

  • Availability to work as an intern for 02 years 

  • Availability to work for 6 hours a day
