About You and this Role
 
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing key strategies and programs to generate demand and build brand awareness for Liferay products and solutions in Latin America. The candidate must possess strong project management, coordination, collaboration, and communication skills. The individual will work closely with the broader marketing team and the local sales team to build and drive marketing initiatives.
 
Key Objectives & Responsabilities
 
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy and plan for Brazil to build brand awareness and generate demand,  working closely with the sales team
  • Deploy successful field marketing activities from ideation to execution
  • Support direct business goals by managing and executing a wide variety of events whether digital, hybrid or in-person (breakfast seminars, annual customer Symposium, webinars, VIP events, industry events, etc)
  • Seek for new opportunities to generate demand through third party events
  • Support ABM and Target Accounts initiatives to generate demand
  • Execute customer marketing initiative focused on retention and expansion business, by working closely with the sales team on identifying customer target accounts, messaging and content approach
  • Engage with partners, build relationships, foster campaign adoption and increase partner marketing productivity
  • Monitor and encourage adoption of the Liferay Marketing Development Funds
  • Execute co-marketing initiatives such as events, and support others such as, video or written case studies, and digital marketing initiatives
  • Analyze market/industry trends to identify and suggest opportunities and inform marketing strategies based on best practices
  • Support the execution of Community events
  • Build and maintain a solid marketing database 
  • Track, measure and report on field marketing activities performance, and suggest improvements
  • Collaborate with other Liferay marketing teams across the globe to exchange ideas and best practices
 
Required Qualifications
 
  • Solid experience building effective demand generation programs for high tech companies
  • Degree in Marketing or Business, or comparable education/experience
  • Fully comfortable working in English, both written and spoken
  • Spanish skill is desirable
  • Experience managing third-party agencies and suppliers
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
  • Ability to work independently across marketing initiatives but also collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Excellent communications skills and sales interaction skills are a must
