About You and this Role

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist in Singapore with 2-4 years experience, preferably in a tech company. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, a self-starter, eager to learn and grow, and capable of working independently.

As a key member of the Marketing team, you will play a vital role in executing a comprehensive, partner-first marketing strategy. Your focus will be on driving demand and building brand awareness for Liferay, both directly and through strong collaboration with partners, to support the sales pipeline across South East Asia. 

With the rest of the APAC Field & Partner Marketing Team, you will collaborate with the local sales team and channel leaders, and contribute to sales growth in your region while benefiting from an opportunity to advance your career in a high-growth, international, and open source company.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of  integrated marketing strategies that drive demand and revenue growth across multiple channels (events, digital, content, social media, etc.)
  • Execute events whether digital, or in-person (Customer Digital Days, webinars, VIP events, industry events, Partner events, etc.), working in autonomy with third party providers.
  • Plan, create and work with the Corporate team to publish social media posts.
  • Work closely with the Corporate Demand Generation team, to review and optimise digital leads’ performance and website traffic for your region.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Channel teams to execute customer marketing and partner marketing initiatives.
  • Track, measure, and report on the performance of field marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze market/industry trends to identify opportunities and advise marketing strategies based on best practices.
  • Collaborate with other Liferay marketing teams across the globe to exchange ideas and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing or Business, or comparable education/experience
  • 2~4 years experience in Field Marketing/Channel Marketing (within IT industry a plus)
  • Experience in managing end-to-end events or programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Experience managing 3rd party providers  
  • Ability to work within a global organization, collaborating across different cultures, time zones and geographies
