About you and the role

The Engagement Manager (EM) is responsible for the fulfillment of consulting projects/engagements. From pre-existing packages to creating new packages from scratch, helping lead subject matter engagements and enhancing the leadership team for full lifecycle projects, EMs should be familiar with all aspects of our consulting.Engagement Manager will provide our teams and resource management leaders with necessary information to effectively manage allocation of resources to help assure the right people are working on the right activities, achieve resource utilization goals, and stay on track regarding client delivery expectations.

Key Objectives

  • Delivery of client project based on scope, schedule, and budget 
  • Works with multiple teams from proposal support to billing 
  • Handling client escalation issues, facilitate discussion, and conflict resolution
  • Schedule and facilitate regular meetings 
  • Communicate regular status updates both to client and internally 
  • Participate in resource allocation for projects according to the needs of the business 
  • Respond to client needs as they arise to ensure client satisfaction 
  • Following Liferay’s Services methodology for delivery 
  • Mentor associate engagement manager
  • Works with sales team during the proposal process
  • Collaborate with project managers to deliver full life cycle projects 
  • Communicate overall solution to explain client investment
  • Participate in an agile process to clarify requirements, manage team delivery and obtain feedback on team deliverables
  • Take ownership of tasks assigned
