Content Marketing Specialist – Full time – Toronto, ON

The Content Marketing Specialist plays a key role within the marketing team. This role is responsible for planning and development of best-in-class social content that resonates with our target market while elevating the Lifemark Health Group brand.  Using insights and trend analysis, a robust annual content calendar with monthly themes will be developed, which includes a variety of content formats and types.

Your collaborative nature has you working closely with Subject Matter Experts, Clinicians, and Business Segment leads, leading to the development of engaging patient focused and B2B content in support of business and brand objectives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ownership of annual content planning, including development and oversight of monthly content calendar
  • Initiate, write or edit clear, compelling and concise blog copy for Lifemark.ca
  • Become a trusted content SME (subject matter experts) – grow content breadth by working closely with clinicians and business segment leaders
  • Develop content formats and create consistency while incorporating into planning
  • Support social media planning and collaborate on implementation
  • Create annual content calendar for News Posts and develop posts aligned with business objectives
  • Planning and development of content for monthly patient newsletter, which is sent to over 100k patients
  • Corporate Communications and HR content support for an internal team of over 5k
  • Support clinic and Business segment content requests in a timely manner
  • Track content impact versus forecast – KPIs, keyword insights
  • Ensure a strong voice and brand consistency is maintained across all social and web channels

 Experience & Skills Required

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an agency, freelance or marketing role
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, journalism or related field
  • Proven experience as a creative copywriter
  • Above average writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
  • Ability to leverage SEO principles to maximize reach
  • Strong research skills
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Works well in a team
  • Detailed oriented
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • French-English bilingualism is a strong asset
