Marketing & Revenue Insights Analyst, LHH CTM
Description
Marketing generates a significant volume of activity, engagement, and data across our marketing automation platform, web and ad channels, and Salesforce but today this data is not consistently connected to sales outcomes in a way the sales organisation can act on.
This role exists to close that gap. The core mandate is to understand where marketing data comes from and how it moves through our systems, and critically to translate it into insight. Merging marketing data with our existing commercial analytics to produce a genuine full-funnel view, so that commercial leaders can see, with confidence, which marketing activity is actually driving real opportunities and revenue, and can make resourcing and prioritisation decisions on that basis.
This is an analytics and insight role first; technical fluency in marketing systems is the foundation that makes the insight trustworthy.
This role reports into Commercial Performance & Analytics and works as part of a small, multi-skilled team.

- Translate marketing activity and engagement data into clear, relevant insights identifying which campaigns, channels, and activities are genuinely driving qualified pipeline and revenue, versus which are not.
- Partner with the Commercial Insight Analyst to present this insight directly to sales leaders, in a form that supports real prioritisation and resourcing decisions.
Campaign attribution
- Build and maintain attribution logic that connects marketing campaigns and touchpoints to pipeline and revenue outcomes, selecting the right model (first-touch, multi-touch, or influence-based) for the question being asked.
- Produce marketing sourced and marketing influenced pipeline reporting as a core, ongoing output.
Funnel analytics
- Analyse conversion and velocity across the funnel (MQL to SQL to Opportunity), identifying where deals or leads are getting stuck and why.
- Identify leakage and quality issues in the funnel and quantify their impact on pipeline and revenue.
Lead management and routing
- Understand and help define lead scoring and lead status/stage criteria, partnering with marketing to align on what makes a lead sales ready.
- Understand how leads are routed within Salesforce, diagnosing where leads are leaking, stalling, or being misrouted, and recommending fixes.
CRM and marketing automation integration
- Understand the technical and data relationship between the marketing automation platform and Salesforce, field mapping, sync rules, campaign object structure well enough to diagnose and explain discrepancies.
- Act as the first point of diagnosis when marketing and sales data disagree, owning resolution of the root cause.
All About You

- A demonstrated track record of merging marketing and sales data to produce insight that changed a commercial decision.
- Practical experience building or maintaining campaign attribution reporting, with a clear understanding of the trade-offs between attribution models.
- Working knowledge of how marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot, or Pardot/Account Engagement) and Salesforce connect lead/campaign data structures, sync behaviour, and where data commonly breaks.
- Familiarity with lead routing concepts and how routing issues affect funnel performance, even if not hands on system administration.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills. Ability to present complex, merged datasets as a clear, decision ready narrative for senior sales stakeholders.
- Comfort operating with significant autonomy, building a new working relationship with marketing from scratch.
