Talent Connector (Switzerland)

The primary responsibility of the Talent Connector is to cultivate relationships with the hiring community in their designated region to gain an understanding of jobs opportunities and to facilitate landing for our candidates

 

Reporting Relationships:

      Reports directly to Operations Manager

Location of Position:

      This position is home-office based.

Major Responsibilities

      Build relationships with regional colleagues to understand local LHH clients and their talent acquisition needs.

      Build relationships with consultants to provide knowledge of LHH’s candidate database and gain understanding of candidate population.

      Provide virtual or in person demonstration of LHH Recruitment tools and technologies

      Organize and coordinate onsite/ virtual career events and confirm employer/ employee participation

      Managing candidate talent pools on our Digital Talent Exchange technology (LHH’s candidate database) and dashboard creator, sourcing candidates in line with job descriptions.

      Solicit job openings from recruiters and hiring organizations and helps to match open positions with active candidates; initiate and coordinate recruiter/employer events to facilitate connections. 

      Network with local hiring community and actively solicit job leads for candidates impacted by major projects

      Create and strengthen valuable relationships with current and prospective customers and other hiring resources by acting as a liaison between them and our candidates

      Actualize the full potential of exclusive LHH recruitment tools for both hiring professionals and candidates

      Provide virtual or in person demonstration of LHH Recruitment tools and technologies

 

Specific Duties - External Focus (70%)

      Develop relationships with staffing managers in companies and organizations throughout the market area, including customers, prospects and others

      Work in close concert with LHH Business Developers in developing and strengthening relationships with area employers

      Participate, as appropriate, in sales presentations to key prospects and established customers

      Develop networking contacts among hiring managers, recruiters, temporary employment firms, LHH alumni and other appropriate sources

      Gather intelligence from hiring managers and network resources

      Establish resources and systems to provide market information, trends, companies entering and exiting the market area, etc.

      Attend business events

      Field questions from employers and recruiters regarding displaced employees and refer appropriately to Business Developer

Internal Focus (30%)

      Proactive gathering of current job leads appropriate for the local client population and connect people with jobs.

Required Experience/Characteristics

      Previous experience in professional-level business, staffing, human resources, recruiting, or placement

      Highly proficient in written and spoken English, Swiss German & French

      Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills

      Technologically savvy and adept with proven knowledge of MS Office products and social media

      Demonstrable track record of good organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise

      Ability to compile, organize, and process information to create tracking and status reports

      Ability to work independently and be responsive to client and hiring professionals’ requests

      Good knowledge of employee recruiting practices including Internet recruiting

      Ability to follow a business process

      Flexible and a “can do” attitude

      Independent, proactive, naturally curious individual who actively shares information with others at all levels

      Passionate about people and the LHH proposition

      Willingness to travel occasionally

      Must have access to a home office with internet service and reliable PC
