Finance Executive
Description
We are looking for a Finance Executive to join our dynamic Finance team. You will be working in our Singapore office, located in the trendy Shaw Centre. Your role will take responsibility for our Singapore office where you will bring your energy and passion for finance excellence to help us drive efficiency across our finance function.

In this role you can expect to
Key Accountabilities
Assist the Senior Accountant in helping with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process – prepare journal entries, as needed: cash, accruals, prepaids, fixed asset, depreciation, among others;
Prepare and maintain monthly reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts, key accounts: AR, cash, intercompany, non-trade assets (prepaid, other receivables, fixed assets), asset retirement obligation, VAT, accrued volume discounts;
Assist in preparation of annual statutory reconciliation and tax reporting;
Aid in preparation of financial information for Adecco Group reporting and consolidation;
Assist with interim and annual Audit process (revenue & costs review, key processes controls);
Assist with preparation of monthly and annual statutory filings;
Manage quarterly GST reporting and filing process;
Maintain monthly reconciliation of intercompany month end re-charge reports;
Prepare customer and supplier invoices, verify accuracy against PO, reconcile and process for billing;
Monitor accounts receivable and apply best practices in credit and collections;
Help the finance team and local management to meet business needs and objectives:
Assist and support the finance team in order to achieve objectives;
Other ad-hoc duties as necessary per Group policies & compliance.
Here’s what you’ll need to succeed
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, able to handle manual process
2 - 3 years working in relevant role
Basic accounting principles which you have practically applied in the past
A good attitude, sharp with an eye for detail and a team player
Sense of responsibility, meticulous and self-discipline
Multi-tasker with good time management skills
Drive and passion to learn
Interest in, and ability to, drive automation and change
Knowledge in MYOB is beneficial
Working knowledge of local statutory requirements is beneficial
