Managing Director, Singapore

The job holder has overall operational & financial responsibility for the effective management and operation in Singapore.  They play a general management role accountable for the commercial success and development.

 

In this key management role, you will be responsible for managing and driving the sales teams on the go to market strategies and execution to attain the country growth objectives.

 

This includes, but not limited to, pipeline creation and deal reviews, influencing and developing relationships with large Enterprise customers, coaching the major accounts teams to help drive hi-touch sales activities and opportunity coverage to exceed sales targets. 

 

Major Responsibilities

      In accordance with the overall corporate objectives, lead and coordinate all operation activities in Singapore.

      Undertake full responsibilities for the development and implementation of the business strategy for Singapore.

      Develop and align business relationships with senior leaders of key customers to ensure quality services to our customers.

      Produce budgets and plans for the company in line with company objectives and responsible for overall budget for the business.

      To monitor, review and report on business results, taking prompt action to ensure improvements in performance are implemented, particularly where achievements are likely to fall short of acceptable requirements.

      Focus on business and profit growth.

      Work with the business heads of the other regions for the optimization and best practice sharing.

      Lead operation team to enhance performance through leading, motivating, coaching, training, leveraging, sharing information and job enrichment and make sure to meet and exceed the KPIs target.

      Lead operation team to seek innovation and implement projects for continuous process improvements.

      Build, manage and develop a strong team through coaching, motivation and leadership.

      Focus on people development and contribute more to our organization to support company business growth

Key Accountabilities

      Monitor profit and loss of the operational cost in Singapore

      Ensure operational effectiveness and excellence

      Lead and develop the sales and operation team of Singapore

      Monitor market and industry developments and trends and recommend the appropriate strategies and plans

 

Required Experience/Characteristics

Skills

Experience

      At least 10 years of experience of which 5 years in a senior management / P&L capacity in the HCM or Talent Management solutions space.

      Experience in managing a high-performance sales team

      Ability to connect and build professional relationship at C-level

      Demonstrated track record of initiating and managing multi-million-dollar deals

Qualifications

      Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent

      MBA would be an advantage.

      High dominance – achievement oriented and able to drive changes

      Influencing and collaboration skills – able to forge alliance and sell idea

      Sets high standards for himself and others

      Proactive management style and self-motivated

      High level of personal integrity is a must

      Entrepreneurial drive, determination to succeed, a sense of urgency, and high energy level
