`SVP, Talent Development Consultant

The primary responsibility of the Talent Development Consultant will be to help support and develop regional sales efforts and results in partnership with Area Sales Directors (ASDs), Business Developers, Account Managers and other sales drivers. This role contributes to the sales results of the region’s talent development solutions thereby enhancing the company’s market position. Due to continued anticipated growth in this market segment, this role will be responsible for supporting this growth, including by identifying, qualifying, developing and converting talent development business opportunities. Additionally, the Talent Development Consultant will design and deliver talent development program offerings to LHH clients according to LHH quality standards; to oversee Associate Coaches, one-on-one, and group delivery of coaching services, projects, portals and programs. The position will be approximately divided between Sales Development Support (70%) and Service Delivery (30%).

      Reports directly to the Regional Talent Development Solutions Director (TDSD)

Major Responsibilities

Sales Development

      Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provides sales partnership to Business Developers

      Creates compelling client presentations and proposals

      Prices Talent Development (TD) projects using account and competitive knowledge and LHH pricing tools

      Works independently to expand services within accounts in which s/he is working

      Engages additional SMEs (e.g., Product Managers, Global Solutions Leads) to develop solutions and proposals, as needed

      Supports Business Development prospecting and TD account strategy efforts

      Provides regular pipeline and opportunity management updates to the TDSD and ASDs as needed

      Conceives and executes effective and innovative TD client marketing events in both face-to-face and virtual formats

Service Delivery

      Oversees delivery of local coaching and Talent Development projects

      Ensures quality of local delivery of services

      Leads large scale engagements with multiple components across multiple geographies in the assigned region

      Acts as liaison with key client contacts at largest and most strategic client accounts (i.e. top ten TD accounts in the region)

      Design tailored group programs to meet client needs

      Facilitate design sessions and client workshops as needed

      Provides non-confidential feedback to LHH Business Developers and client sponsors and key stakeholders on participant progress

      Leads regular debrief calls with key clients to discuss project status and enhancements

TD Practice Development

      Participates in corporate initiatives and special projects as available

      Supports TD knowledge and capability building of business developers and colleagues

      Act as peer advisor to new members of TD community; mentors and guides development of junior staff that support TD practice (i.e. TD project manager, account managers, etc.)


Required Experience/Characteristics

      Significant business / sales experience, in a corporate or entrepreneurial setting

      Good understanding of all facets of Talent Development, particularly career mobility and upskilling

      Technologically savvy with interest and knowledge in future workforce trend and technology

      Highly experienced in program and curriculum design

      Excellent sales support and project management skills

      Superb facilitation skills with excellent platform skills

      Team player with strong impulse to collaborate with others

      Familiar with 360 degree and other assessments

      High personal credibility with a strong set of values consistent with LHH culture

      Advanced Degree in a related field preferred

      Strong executive presence

      Position will be based in New York/New Jersey/PA as part of the Northeast Region
